After living in our new home for almost a year now, we couldn’t be happier with our choice to build with Trustway Homes. From the first day we met their architect to the day we moved in, Trustway made the entire process smooth, painless, and believe-it-or-not, rather enjoyable. As we looked for existing homes to buy, we just weren’t finding anything we liked. We then decided to build and began the process of finding a floor plan we liked. Not finding anything that really fit our lifestyle, it was looking more like we would be designing our dream home from scratch. We heard all the horror stories about building, let alone, designing and building your own home, so we wanted to make sure we picked the right builder. That said, we can’t say enough great things about our experience with Trustway.
In just one meeting with Trustway’s architect was able to create a conceptual drawing of what would ultimately become our home. We couldn’t believe it! All of the pictures, photos, magazines and ideas that we had dreamed about for years were brought to life after spending just a few hours with him. He really listened to our ideas, the way we live day-to-day, and incorporated our lifestyle into the design and functionality of the house.
Trustway’s 51 years of experience and focus on their customer was evident throughout the entire process. We found them to be honest, forthright, and very confident in everything they did. Our project manager, Brian, is a perfect example. The lot we chose to build on presented its own set of challenges in placing the house. Brian knew exactly what to do and worked with our neighborhood developer to get the house placed how we wanted it. Brian is very persistent and knows how to get things done, and done fast. He is a huge asset to Trustway. As with any project, issues will arise, how your builder responds to them can tell you a lot about who you chose. The way Brian and the entire Trustway team handled any issue that did arise, reassured us that we had picked the right builder.
Trustway has done a great job of building a great team of loyal employees. It showed in the pride they took in our home and the experience that they had. Something we found unique was the pride and loyalty that the contractors had for Trustway. You can tell they enjoy working for Trustway and that they are actually treated like employees, not just contractors. They were enjoyable to talk to and excited as we were to see our house progress. On several occasions they went above and beyond what was required of them, as if they were building their own home.
To say we are happy with our Trustway home would be an understatement. They literally were able to make our dreams come true. Trustway not only builds the best quality house, but they are also a very well run business. That was evident throughout the entire process. They managed to work around both of our work schedules, the birth of our first child, and two of the most impatient and particular people, that being me and my wife.
We would be happy to recommend Trustway to anyone even thinking of designing their own dream home. We could go on and on about Trustway, but we think the best way to sum up our experience is to ask this simple question………”after working with Trustway for the last year to design and build our dream home, would we do it all over again?”. Well, we plan to live in our home forever, but if we ever get the itch to do it all over again, Trustway will be our builder of choice.
