Energy Star® homes must meet a strict energy efficiency guidelines set by the U.S. EPA.  One of the requirements is the completion of a blower door test.  The blower door test tests for how much air is leaking from the home, which rates the overall tightness of the home.  When the Landmark II was tested, it passed the minimum required by Energy Star® by 35%.
